Chris Hallett is an attorney at Wang Austin LLC whose practice centers on employee benefits and executive compensation. She counsels employers on regulatory and compliance matters involving retirement programs, health and welfare benefits, and executive compensation arrangements.

Her work includes guiding organizations through issues affecting tax-qualified retirement plans, such as plan documentation and drafting, fiduciary responsibilities under ERISA, determination letter applications, and EPCRS correction filings. Chris also provides advice on the tax treatment of equity-based compensation, deferred compensation arrangements, and other types of annual and long-term incentive plans. In addition, she regularly advises on health and welfare benefit plan administration and HIPAA compliance.

Chris also has substantial experience addressing employee benefits and executive compensation considerations in a wide range of corporate transactions.
